Chris joined Battery in 2003 and is responsible for managing the firm’s finance, marketing, human resource, information systems and administrative functions. He has an extensive background in managing the financial and operational functions of both public and venture-backed private companies.

Chris joined Battery from WaterCove Networks, where he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to WaterCove, Chris was the CFO of public companies NetGenesis and Saville Systems, as well as for !hey Software, a private company. Chris also served as Treasurer for the public company System Software Associates, and spent the first 10 years of his career as a tax professional with Coopers & Lybrand. Chris graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Accountancy, has an MS in Taxation from DePaul University, and is a CPA.
