Matt joined Battery in 2006 and is responsible for the management and oversight of Battery’s worldwide technology infrastructure. He previously held positions at Battery including System Administrator and Senior System Administrator, with responsibility for the maintenance and support of the Information Technology infrastructure in Battery’s Boston-area headquarters. He is also responsible for the management of the deal tracking database, and led the efforts to design and implement a new deal tracking system for the Investment Team. In his role, Matt also actively advises start-ups in Battery’s portfolio on building their IT infrastructure.

Prior to Battery, Matt was a Network and Desktop Support Specialist at the Eastern Bag & Paper Group, where he supported the network and computer systems in their Massachusetts branch office. He earned his MBA with distinction from Bentley College in 2008 and also holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
