Jemimah Milburn

Jemimah joined Battery in 2025 as deputy chief compliance officer. In this role, she works on all aspects of Battery’s compliance program. Jemimah manages day-to-day compliance with internal policies and procedures and SEC regulatory requirements.

Prior to Battery, Jemimah spent 11 years at global private-equity firm Advent International, most recently as director of compliance where she oversaw the firm’s SEC compliance program

Before Advent, she held compliance and legal roles at investment firms Denham Capital Management and Sowood Capital Management. Jemimah started her career in paralegal and legal-assistant roles at two Boston-area law firms.

She holds a BS in political science, with a concentration in law and legal issues, from Northeastern University.
