The CRO’s Guide to Incentive Quota Clubs

Incentive trips, or more commonly known as quota clubs, have been a cultural norm in software sales for decades.  In my first weeks after college at Oracle, I remember the top sales reps getting their “packet,” which included plane flights to Hawaii, hotel details, plus some custom luggage tags.  I was hooked then and wanted to be a part of that elite club!

Fortunately, I was able to attend many incentive club trips after that, and eventually found myself planning them.  This was one of my favorite activities as a CRO – recognizing the success of the sales members who overperformed.

The last few years have been challenging, and I’ve heard of fewer club trips.  But about 6 months ago, I was getting asked – do I have any tips/ideas/suggestions for planning a trip.  That felt great was the motivation for creating this ebook.

Here’s to successful trip planning!
