Jack Mattei

Jack Mattei is an associate who focuses on early- and growth-stage companies across sectors and focus areas within the firm. He joined Battery full-time after participating in the firm’s 2020 summer internship program. He is currently involved in Battery’s investments in Kustomer (acquired by Meta, subsequently spun out) and Procurement Sciences.

Prior to Battery, Jack worked as a summer analyst at Silvercrest Asset Management in New York for the equity-research and fixed-income teams. Before that, he was an investment-banking summer analyst at Schneider Downs Corporate Finance in Pittsburgh.

Jack graduated with a BA in history with a U.S. concentration from Yale University where he played on the men’s varsity lacrosse team.
