Zack helps lead Battery’s growing industrial-technology and life science tools practice, backing later-stage, buyout investments in the U.S. and Europe.

Zack joined Battery in 2013 and focuses on later-stage, buyout investments in industrial technology and life science tools. Zack is currently involved with a number of Battery’s acquisitive platforms, including AnalytiChem, Axiometrix Solutions, ifp Institut für Produktqualität (ifp), Mobius Institute, Noise & Vibration Technologies (NVT), Physical Property Testing (PPT), Skalar and SPT Life Sciences. Zack has worked on more than 40 add-on acquisitions within this portfolio across the U.S. and Europe.

Zack’s previous investments include Process Sensing Technologies (acquired by DwyerOmega).

Prior to Battery, Zack was an investor at WestView Capital Partners, where he evaluated and executed middle-market buyout and recapitalization transactions across the tech-enabled services and software sectors. Zack began his career in the investment banking group at Avondale Partners.

Zack graduated from Tufts University with a BS in economics. He also holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Zack was recognized as Growthcap’s Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors of 2021.
